Neighborhood Parking-Parking with Traffic
Following the laws and municipal codes for parking in Parker neighborhoods makes our residents and community safer. Please be a good neighbor and follow the parking rules set forth by the Parker Municipal Code and the Town adopted 2010 Model Traffic Code for Colorado.
All vehicles must be parked with the flow of traffic according to 1205 (1) of the 2010 Model Traffic Code for Colorado. Parking with your right-hand wheels parallel to the curb reduces traffic accidents when vehicles are parking and leaving.
“Every vehicle stopped or parked upon a two-way roadway shall be so stopped or parked with the right-hand wheels parallel to and within twelve inches of the right-hand curb or as close as practicable to the right edge of the right-hand shoulder.”
If you want to report someone not parking with the right wheels parallel to the curb, or any other parking violation, please call our non-emergency number 303.841.9800.
