Take Us Back Tuesday– Halloween Edition 🎃👻
Off 148th and Old Brighton Road, about 20 miles northeast of Denver, you can find Elmwood Cemetery.
Elmwood Cemetery became fully established in 1896 as part of a private venture.
In the early 1950s, the City of Brighton took over operations for the cemetery and every year around Halloween, the cemetery staff invites guests for a cemetery walk. The walk gives attendees a peek into the lives of Brighton’s various community leaders, farmers, pioneers, and soldiers buried in the cemetery – all of whom have a story to be shared.
Over the years there have been reports of unexplained sightings, sounds, cold spots, and sudden gusts of wind from the cemetery but the origin of the phenomena remain a mystery. 🤷♂️
